- A community-based initiative aimed at reducing and preventing violence in neighborhoods heavily impacted by gun violence. Utilizing the evidence-based Cure Violence model, ARTSAVE engages local credible messengers—community members with personal experiences of violence—to act as violence interrupters. These individuals mediate conflicts, prevent retaliation, and offer alternatives to violent behaviors. The program also integrates art-based therapeutic interventions
